Python has been set up to give personal service to people in the Chiltern Hills area which includes the English counties of Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. The aim is to fill a niche between the home computer user and the DTP and Web authoring services of Internet Service Providers.

Solutions to a variety of customers' problems are offered at very economical rates - just complete our reply form outlining what you would like done and I will give you a quotation and suggest how I may be able to help.

Web facilities are provided through Chiltern Web Gazette which is an on-line features and advertising magazine.

Typical introductory price for creation and space for a year
for four unique A4 sized linked pages is £100 inclusive of scanning several pictures.
for a single home page for an individual £20.

Images of US legal size pictures (8.5 x 14 inches) can be scanned and enhanced as required and the scan returned to you as a MIME attachment of an e-mail message or on disc in a variety of machine formats. Typically £1 dependent on quantity and if postage is needed. Larger images can be tackled by scanning twice and "stitching" the image together electronically - ask for quotation.

In addition we will:-
Take your text and graphic information in a variety of forms. (see below)
We will add HTML code to enable your pages to be viewed with Web browsing software.
We will supply you with two prints from our browser.
We will publish your document in Chiltern Web Gazette for the agreed period upon receipt of the fee and a completed Agreement together with an initialled print marked with any minor amendments you wish us to include. As part of this service we will set hypertext links to search engines so that your document can be found on the Web.

HTML documents created using information supplied by clients become the property of the client once payment is made; though the Publisher reserves the right to amend hypertext links or details of information in any document published on Chiltern Web Gazette. Documents published for clients will remain part of Chiltern Web Gazette for the period agreed. Should the Publisher wish to remove a document prior to the end of the agreed period a refund of the balance of the Web space rental will be made to the client. Clients wishing an entire document to be removed can have this done free of charge with no refund but amendments will be charged at the prevailing rates.

Acceptable forms of information:
Text preferrably as Plain Text or ASCII code by E-mail, or on a 3.5 inch disc, or as a clear printed copy in a Times or Helvetica style font (but a typing charge may apply for unmachine-readable copy of over 1000 words) Graphics can be sent as a UUENCODEd or MIME attachment to an e-mail message, or as a photograph for us to scan, or as a Kodak PhotoCD for the best quality, or as a file on 3.5 inch disc.
